Set in the beautiful Venetian Dolomites, Strider’s Tale traces the adventures of a young Ranger, and his wanderings in search of his identity, his origins and his Destiny; but a terrible threat hangs over his bloodline.
“Strider’s Tale,” based on the stories of J.R.R. Tolkien, traces the adventures of a young Ranger, raised in Rivendell by elves following the death of his father at the hands of orcs.
Aware of his lineage, he will face choices that will lead him to join the North’s ramblers and watch over Middle-earth as a dark threat hangs over the heir to the Throne of Gondor.
“Strider’s Tale” is a new Fan Film based on the stories by J.R.R. Tolkien. The project, produced and curated by Altercut, was born from the passion and desire to give back to this fantastic world through a work created and created by fans for fans.
Following in the footsteps of“The Hunt for Gollum” and“Born of Hope,” Strider’s Tale is a medium-length film that aims not only to bring the many fans back to the wonderful Middle-earth, but also to rediscover it here in Italy, in the Dolomites and the woods of the Veneto region.

Are you a Cosplayer or do you love the world of larp? Then you have the opportunity to participate in real days on the set, face to face with the crew. In fact, the production is looking for extras, fans and non-fans who want to participate in the filming and appear in the movie!
